NEWLY DESIGNED WINDSCREEN

The windscreen has been extended upwards by 9 mm & designed after extensive wind-tunnel testing to provide a comfortable protected area and has succeeded in reducing wind baffle and turbulence.

NEWLY ADOPTED HEADLAMP

To provide wide & broad illumination during night rides, the low-beam is also lit, along with High beam.

COMFORTABLE SEAT

The newly designed seat provides great comfort to riders. The front of the seat is slim enabling the rider to easily reach the ground and the pillion seat has a wide and comfortable space, making sure the pillion rider can comfortably enjoy the ride.

STURDY REAR CARRIER

An important feature, perfectly designed to provide a large flat space to securely strap large baggage during long rides.

DOWN TYPE EXHAUST SYSTEM

Installed an exhaust system with the same image as the V-Strom 1000, with a larger diameter resulting in increased power and a strong mid-range.

WIRED SPOKE WHEELS

Wired spoke wheels absorb shock from the road better due to the flexible character of spokes, providing the rider with further comfort and exhilarated riding pleasure.

UPDATED BS6 ENGINE

Updated 645cc V-Twin engine, with new resin-coated pistons, revising over 60 engine components to achieve low fuel consumption & high performance.

ALUMINUM TWIN-SPAR FRAME

Combination of the light yet rigid aluminum twin-spar frame and swing arm provides steady handling and maneuverability while keeping the chassis slim enabling the rider to easily reach the ground.

REAR MONO-SHOCK SUSPENSION

The rear suspension equipped with a spring preload adjuster knob on the right side of the frame, adjustments are possible without any tools in the case of riding with a passenger or with heavy luggage.

SLIMMER & LARGER TANK

The redesigned slimmer and smarter tank still holds a capacity of 20L, for a long riding range and provides comfortable ergonomics and an easy foot reach.

ADVANCED TRACTION CONTROL SYSTEM

Mode one - modest rear wheel spin for more advanced, exhilarating riding. Mode two- activates traction control at the slightest loss of rear-wheel grip to give you greater confidence on slippery surfaces.

PRACTICAL INFORMATION ON LCD

Newly designed brightness-adjustable LCD with features like- odometer, dual trip meters, gear position, coolant & air temperatures, battery voltage, range on remaining fuel, average fuel consumption, instantaneous fuel consumption, traction control mode, a fuel gauge and a clock.

12V DC CHARGING PORT

It has got a 12V DC outlet positioned directly below the instruments as standard equipment, supporting the rider for the use of satellite navigation systems and/or the recharging of mobile devices.
